RE-EDUCATION
Clients are often referred to the driving program by their doctors if they are unsure of their ability to drive due to a medical condition. Those under the care of a physician for conditions such as a stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, MS or Parkinson’s disease must be medically cleared by a physician before they are able to return to driving, according to New Jersey State Law.

REHABILITATION
The Bacharach Driver Re-Education Program, one of only eight centers in the tri-state region, assesses a client’s driving skills through a Pre-Driver and Behind the Wheel Evaluation/Training. The Pre-Driver evaluation measures vision, motor skills, reaction time, and cognitive skills. The Behind the Wheel Evaluation/Training measures the client’s ability to safely and independently perform basic driving skills in various road situations, utilizing Bacharach’s adapted driving vehicle with dual-controls.

Atlantic Driving School takes pride in its mission, which is to save lives by helping new drivers become safe drivers. We strive to meet the scheduling needs of our clients, as well as their instructional needs. Each student is assessed and evaluated throughout the 6 hour NJ behind the wheel driver training course.
