WHO WE ARE
Dr. Paul McMahon and his wife, Marian, opened Atlantic Driving School in 2005.
Paul has been teaching both ‘Behind-the-Wheel’ and classroom driver education for more than 30 years. He is a nationally certified “Alive at 25” instructor.
In his career, he is responsible for the successful education of thousands of drivers.
Marian runs the day-to-day operation of the school. She is also a state-certified driving instructor specializing in teaching students with special needs.
Together, with hard work and dedication, they have grown Atlantic Driving School into one of the most respected and sought-after schools in Ocean County.
They are the proud parents of 3 children and are active members of the community.

Our highly qualified and experienced instructors provide exceptional one-on-one training.
Learning to drive is a natural progression for our students. Some master these lessons faster than others, and this is where our experience and dedication really make a difference. We emphasize safety, showing our students defensive driving techniques and how to reduce distractions behind the wheel. Our professional driving instructors cater to young learners, mature-aged adult learners, nervous learners, and learners with disabilities.
